Now you go to SAM Broadcaster and switch the Vibe station to Live Source (i.e. You set up your SAM Vibe station so that it has your "normal" stream as external relay (It will send out everything going through your Vibe account to that external relay)

However the idea is not to switch from a Shoutcast encoder in SAM to SAM Vibe, but a little different.

That's exactly the use case for the external relay support. Note that relaying another station without their permission is really bad habit and might even count as copyright infringement (not so much because of the stuff they play, but because of the combination and order they play the stuff might qualify as a seperate work) Or you could simply use the Event Scheduler and run your imaging on another deck while keeping the URL running. That way you can simply use a clockwheel to play your station imaging and then return to the URL. You could add the URL to a seperate category and your original Station IDs etc to other ones. You can then add a URL in your SAM Broadcaster Live DJ edition and play that through your SAM Vibe station instead of the cloud based stuff from the SAM Vibe "controller" application.

It might as well be that the Live DJ edition of SAM Broadcaster is only available to the seperate DJ accounts and not the main one. That could however be a false information. What you need is a SAM Vibe subscription and then you download the SAM Broadcaster Live DJ edition.ĪFAIK you only need a seperate DJ account if you want more than one computer at a time to interact with your station, but that feature is pretty new and I only tried it while in Beta. You don't really need the SAM Vibe application for your current situation.
